【摘要】随着城市化进程的加快，资源与发展之间的矛盾日益突出。为提高资源利用效率，贯彻落实科学发展观，发展节约型园林已成为城市园林建设的必然方向。分析了我国园林建设中普遍存在的一系列浪费问题，提出了节约型园林建设在节水、节能等方面的具体措施，以及在规划设计、植物选择、科学养护、监督管理等方面的思考。

【Abstract】 With the accelerating of urbanization，the contradictions between resources and development became increasingly prominent.To improve resource utilization efficiency and implement the concept of scientific development，developing the economizing garden had become the inevitable direction of city gardens construction.A series of wasteproblems in the garden construction in China were analyzed.The concrete measures of water and energy saving，the thinking of planning and design，plant selection，scientific maintenance and supervision and management were proposed.
